Two new M1 and four B4 students are welcomed in our laboratory.
- 2023 Jan 5: Welcome party for Lecturer Taniguchi!
We had welcome party for Lecturer Taniguchi! Some students love to cook, and they prepare the Japanese hot pod dishes and pizzas with special cares to COVID-19. We enjoyed the party and prayed for our great success in 2023.
- 2023 Jan:A Happy New Year! Lecturer Taniguchi has been joined to our laboratory at January 2023.
- 2022 Dec:We updated our HP!
- 2022 Dec 15-17:M1 students (Mr. Matsubara and Mr. Sakamori) participated the VPWJ2022.
They fascinated the audience, and, as a result, we received an encouraging e-mail message from one of professors. After the WS, we enjoyed “Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum” in Yokohama.

Lecturer Aska moved to Fukui University of Technology. We hope future great success.
- 2022/Aug18-24:Students presented their reserch results at 29th International Conference on LOW TEMPERATURE PHYSICS (LT29)!
Four our students (Mr. Teshigawara, Mr. Tanda, Mr. Matsubara, and Mr. Sakamori) attended the international conference LT29. They also visited Hokkaido University located near the conference site. They enjoed cutting edge low temperature physics and noble sight of NATURE at hokkaido.

- 2022/2/2-4:Asst. Prof. Yano invited NF Tech forum 2022 Winter Online as a Invited Speaker at Special session.
He introduced the importance and recent development of material science regarding magnetic materials, electronics materials, future spintronics materials, superconductors, and topological materials.
Title:Material Science for next "common sense" materials ~From conventional semiconductors to cutting edge materials (superconductors and topological materials).

- 2021/7/12: Success in Development of High-Resolution Electromagnetic Microscope
In this study, we focused on the diamond nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center as a material for electromagnetic wave imaging, and irradiated it with a microwave pulse sequence for spin locking. This is the first time that electromagnetic wave imaging with high spatial resolution has been successfully achieved. The spatial resolution of electromagnetic wave imaging is determined by the resolution of the wide-field optical microscope. The spatial resolution of conventional methods using micro-antennas and electromagnetic wave sensor arrays was on the order of millimeters (mm), but this research has achieved a spatial resolution on the order of micrometers (µm), an improvement of three orders of magnitude. The electromagnetic wave imaging technology is expected to contribute to the visualization of electromagnetic wave intensity and dielectric constant from high-density high-frequency devices and circuits in high-speed wireless communication bands such as 5G and 6G, where inspection technology with high spatial resolution will be required.
